Testing mishap

As I posted previously, I was supposed to take my GED test this week. However, as it turns out, the test dates were last week and the person whom was administering the test got the dates mixed up.

At first, I was highly upset, but it all worked out well in the end. I talked to the head of the continuing education center where I was going to take the test, and was informed that they will be administering the test again next month, the third Saturday in January. So I will be taking it then instead.

It's actually a blessing in disguise, it's one less thing to stress right now, and gives me more time to prepare myself. So I'm pretty happy with the way it all worked out.

Everything seems to be working out rather well for me. All of the health related issues I've been dealing with this month seem nearly over, just one last thing that needs resolving.

After my oral surgery two weeks ago, I was prescribed Penicillian. I've never taken Pennecillian before and had no idea that I would have a pretty nasty allergic reaction to it. But luckily, I'm fine and that's mostly cleared up now. But boy was that not fun.

On the knitting front, I'm hoping that on Christmas, I'll be able to take pictures of Lady E. I have three more balls of yarn to knit, and I've scheduled some serious knitting time for her in the next week.

On the life in general front, all of my friends, save one are currently home for Christmas Break, including my brother David, whom some of you might remember joined the Marine Corp this year. Travis, the last friend who has moved out of state, will be returning Christmas Eve, and then we'll all be together for Christmas, something that hasn't happened in a few years.

With everything returning to normal, I'll be able to get back to a regular blogging schedule!
